What is PayWallet?

How do I join a round?

Ask your admin for an invite code, then redeem it in the member portal. Admins can approve or reject join requests before you become an active member.

What happens when I contribute?

Your payment is recorded in PayWallet, then a savings deposit is posted to the group contribution account. You can confirm payment, retry a deposit, or make a catch-up contribution if you were late.

Will I get reminders?

Paid plans (PLUS / BUSINESS) can send contribution reminders ~7 days, 3 days, and 24 hours before due — when your portal notification preferences enable email and/or SMS, and messaging is configured. FREE does not include payment reminders. Contact support@paywallet.co.zw if a paid plan still does not deliver.

What is the reserve?

A configurable percentage of the pool is held as reserve (collateral / emergency). Reserve balances are excluded from distributable payouts and support LTV-backed round loans.

Can I borrow from my round?

Yes. Eligible members can apply for a round loan against contribution collateral, subject to LTV (default 80%), minimum cycles, and the round’s approval mode (admin, member vote, or auto under a threshold).

Can round rules change mid-way?

No. Once the first contribution cycle begins, round configuration locks so amounts, frequency, reserve, LTV, and penalty rules stay fair for everyone.

What if someone misses a payment?

After the configured grace period, the contribution is marked delinquent. The round can apply late or missed penalties, reduce collateral, notify members, and escalate persistent default to suspend payouts, freeze withdrawals, or liquidate.

Is KYC required?

KYC verification is required before withdrawals or payout disbursement. Contribution tracking can continue while KYC is completed.

How is the payout order decided?

Rounds support fixed order, random, auction (bid), and vote-based rotation. Admins choose the policy when creating the round; settings lock after the first cycle.
